Purposes:
Our purposes are to develop able priests to contribute to the prosperity
of the Buddhism and to the progress of international society by sending
abroad or accepting to Japan people who wish to study Buddhism. Applicants
must be studious and have excellent character, mind and body.

The Period of study abroad:
One year from April 2005 (This period may be extended depending on situations)
The provision of Expenses:
Necessary expenses are provided to stay in the United States, Thailand,
and other countries, as well as the costs of round trip tickets.
The Number to be accepted:
2 or 3 persons
Documents to be submitted:
(1) Thesis (as follows)

You should select one of these topics and write no less than 5 manuscript
pages with squares for four hundred characters.

(6) The Medical Examination Form
The Deadline for applications:
No later than December 10, 2004 to the Secretariat.
An announcement of the Selection:
January 10, 2005 , with notification to each applicant.
The Start of Study Abroad:
Early in April 2005.
